Authorisation first
Time beyond the hours you requested is only charged when you authorise it through Dispatch. It is never charged automatically, and it is never charged because location evidence shows a server was still present.
Safety
A server may stay a short additional period to leave a situation safe. That period is not charged and does not need authorisation.
How it is measured
After the first hour, time is billed in whole fifteen-minute increments. The figure billed is the one a person at Dispatch reconciles.
Records
The record shows requested hours, elapsed assignment time, verified foreground time and unverified gaps separately. They are different things and are never merged. Support contact: [not yet supplied: support contact].
Business facts still outstanding
