Accessibility at DedicatedServe

Current status

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Accessibility work on this service is ongoing. Automated checks run on every build and parts of the service have been checked by hand, but it has not been independently audited. No conformance claim is made.

What has been tested

  • Automated checks run against the public pages and the signed-out state of every private page on every build.
  • Colour contrast for body text, muted text, buttons, badges, disabled controls and focus outlines is checked automatically against WCAG 2.2 AA thresholds.
  • Keyboard focus is visible on every link, button and form control, and each layout starts with a skip-to-content link.
  • Forms keep their labels visible, describe errors in text as well as colour, and move focus to the message when something goes wrong.
  • Reduced-motion preferences are honoured; nothing moves or plays on its own.

Known limitations

  • No independent accessibility audit has been carried out.
  • Manual screen-reader testing on real desktop and mobile devices is not yet complete.
  • Generated service reports are produced as plain text-based PDFs. They have not been tested against PDF/UA, so an accessible signed-in HTML version of every report you can see is provided alongside the download.
  • The field application for process servers is still in preparation and has not been tested on physical devices.

Owners can record release-bound manual accessibility evidence in the protected Acceptance Testing Center and verified business identity in the Business Readiness Center Legal review workspace.

Telling us about a problem
